A group of senior IT professionals came together to form Praxis in November-2002. We have our headquarters at Kolkata in Eastern part of India. We have been providing services to a number of transnational clients, including a Fortune 500 MNC involved in computer peripherals manufacturing, the world’s leading software company for database and related software products, and one of the leading global organizations specializing in employee opinion survey processing. We have already been rated by Dun & Bradstreet (DUNS No. 919813592) for business credit information including credit history and analysis.

In addition to executing software projects, we have also been consciously investing in R&D efforts through initiative-specific interactions with world-class product companies like Oracle Corporation on data warehousing and data mining, and premier technical institutions like Jadavpur University in Kolkata, India on artificial intelligence and system security.

Our motto, ‘Win with Us’ has helped the clients to save time and money, and has helped us to grow in all directions since inception. Starting its operations in February-2003, Praxis revenue has grown about eight times during the last four years (baseline 2003-04) and the staff strength has grown commensurately to 100-plus.

As a typical example, over the last four years, we have accumulated close to 210 person-years of experience by working with Lexmark International (a Fortune 500 client) – the peak team size of 75-plus resources, endowed with a diverse range of skills, was reached within a period of less-than 24 months.

We have been an Oracle Partner Network (OPN) Member (OPN PIN No. 377582573907) since November-2005, and have been, since February-2006, working with Oracle Corporation as Development Partner for Oracle’s Business Intelligence Accelerator (BIA) products for industry verticals like Retail and Telecommunication.

Our practice group for Oracle based solutions has approximately 80 person-years of development experience. Overall development experience across technology platforms like Oracle, Microsoft and Java is about 310-plus person-years.

Apart from our base in India, we have our footprints in a number of states in the USA since 2003. Inspired by the recent trade mission to India, led by the Taoiseach, Mr. Bertie Ahern, TD, and his clear indication of working together in the knowledge economy as well as in the fields of technology enterprises, we commenced our Irish operation in April 2007.
